Polo Re-do 2

Hey guys!!

I survived my Pharmacology exam with an A!! Whoop!  Anyways, I treated myself to an evening of crafting after the exam and this is what I came up with!

First start with a polo and cut it up

I cut the cuffed sleeves off, to make a ruffled sleeve instead (really easy to do, no worries!)

Now, sew up that giant V-neck, and all the way around the collar so it doesn't stretch out after a few runs through the washer. (sorry no pictures- but you can check it out here) I sewed it up so it didn't pucker by turning the shirt inside out, and sew it face to face on the V neck.

To make ruffled sleeves, break out your elastic thread, hand wind your bobbin, and sew about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch from the edge of the sleeve for 2/3 of the "circle" -- so about 2 inches from the armpit in the front and back don't sew with elastic thread--sorry again no pictures -shame on me!

Next lay out your lace (mine is actually hem tape-its color fast!), and when you sew it on, stretch the shirt a bit as you sew, it makes the lace ruffle!!

Be sure to make a "design/flower" over that weird moose thing to cover it up like this

Yay lace!

Finished product!!

Now unfortunately I have yet ANOTHER exam this coming Friday! I'll try to post a few things later this week if I get the chance!

Thanks for stopping by! Now go procraftinate!
